Three Rivers Cast Iron Cooks sincerely thank all who volunteered

 Three Rivers Cast Iron Cooks sincerely thank all who volunteered and participated in the Sacajawea Jackpot Cook-off and pot-luck at this past Junes festival.  You cooks were awesome!  Many of you worked hard throughout the long day getting those special recipes just right.  The anticipation of actually tasting all those scrumptious smells was tantalizing…but the waiting was so worth it when dinner time rolled around.

 

The winners of the Jackpot cook-off were Gary Burgess fromNewportWAto win the main-dish category with Cabin Chili, and Kathy Caldwell fromPascoWAwho won in two categories; desserts, Chocolate Stout Cake and side-dish, Stewed Apples.  Kathy had the overall vote receiving dish with her Chocolate Stout Cake and she happily took home the grand prize of $100.
